In Eindhoven the 2010 opened restaurant Piet Hein Eek is quite an extraordinary place to be.
The restaurant shows the new Eindhoven attitude in which the city searches for a dynamic urban atmosphere. Being an industrial town in the past with the electronics multinational Philips being the heart, Eindhoven changes for the creative and hightech sides. Nearby is Strijp S, one of the former factories of Philips. This area transforms to a mixed use area with houses, workplaces and entertainment.
