Roombeek is a renewed quarter in Enschede. Where until the year 2000 many old houses formed the neighbourhood, an explosion at the SE Fireworks factory changed everything. Now the site of the actual explosion is a monument. The rest of Roombeek more or less has the best in architecture Enschede has to offer.
