The entrance gate with railway tracks where (mostly) Jewish WWII prisoners were brought into Birkenau and Auschwitz. Now this is in the Polish town of Oswiecim.
Auschwitz and nearby Birkenau certainly are two of the places in Europe with the most horrible story you can think of.
