The new Zaanstad Inntel Hotel reflects the tradional wooden homes.
Architect Soeters showed a different attitude in designing the new Zaanstad Inntel Hotel. The exterior is a mix of tradional Zaandam facades. The project is part of wider renewal of the Zaandam downtown area, also including the new cityhall and many homes. It replaces the strict and cheap functionalist urban area that was here since the nineteen sixties.
