Asian elephant in Malaysian prime elephant conservation at Kuala Gandah.
The Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, located near the Krau Wildlife Reserve, was established in the state of Panang in 1985 by the Development of Wildlife and National Parks. The name Kuala Gandah is taken from the nearby small stream. There are 24 elephants in the sanctuary.
