In the New York City borough of Brooklyn, off season Coney Island is a weird place. It seems to be asleep and at the same time attracting both people looking for a hideaway and people looking for a nice breeze.
Coney Island is atmospheric however! Focal points off the Atlantic Boardwalk are Nathan’s, famous for its Hot Dogs, the Wonderwheel, the Cyclone Rollercoaster and the Sea Aquarium. To the East the Boardwalk runs into the Russian neighbourhood of Brighton Beach.
